Job Opportunities

Systems Analyst:  Contributes to the evaluation, analysis, and development of recommended solutions.  Investigates, analyzes and develops alternatives to resolve complex problems, which require an in depth knowledge of subject matter (i.e. cost/financial and acquisition data analysis) related to the designated field or discipline.  Applies principles and methods of the subject matter to specialized solutions.  Areas of expertise may include business process reengineering, performance management, statistical process control, individual and organizational assessment and evaluation, process modeling and simulation, strategic and business planning, change management, and organizational development.

Operations Analyst:  Develops and/or revises methods and models and conducts analysis to determine effectiveness of operations and the application of capabilities.  Identifies, develops, gauges or investigates operational concepts and progress.  Oversees data collection, analysis, and experiment report development and preparation.  Manages, analyzes, and visualizes data using statistical software, spreadsheet and graphic presentation software and develop customized tools.  Aids customer with executing decision analysis processes to prioritize events and develop solutions.

System Developer:  Provides support that encompasses all tasks necessary to include the development of software from initial conception and planning, through design and development and maintenance, improvement, and conversion.  Conducts studies related to information systems planning as well as the sizing and designing of computer systems on which new or existing software will operate.  Evaluates software and tools and analyze system and software requirements.  Analyze systems specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications.  Writes edits, and analyze programs and processes including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming.

Simulation Modeler:  Provides support to modeling and simulation applications to create and sustain entities representative of current and future U.S. Coast Guard, DoD, or DHS maritime operational vehicles and accurately represent them in the conduct of assigned missions.  Provides methods for gathering data representing the U.S. Coast Guard, DoD, and DHS operations for modeling purposes, and to capture measures from various models.  Conducts simulation experiments and maintains large scale discrete event simulations.

Programmer:    Develops, edits, executes and debugs computer programs, web applications, spreadsheets and databases.  Documents code consistently throughout development process by listing a description of the program, special instructions, and any changes made to data structures including database tables and spreadsheets.  Maintains client databases and develop automated reports. 

Management Consultant:  Possess requisite knowledge and provides customized business focused objective advice, expertise and specialist skills to create value and improve business strategy, internal processes and program/project performance.  Supports development of business plans, policies and procedural documentation and other deliverables in support of executing decisions.  Assists with devising and implementing performance measures and related processes and systems.  Maintains responsibility for managing business solutions, delegating appropriate resources, and fostering quality assurance principles across projects and deliverables and resolving issues.  Organizes, directs and coordinates the planning and execution of activities.  Oversees processes and productivity improvement, systems alignment, particularly within government cost analysis organizations, data sources, and cost data utilization.
