Lodging While at MSI

1.a)      From SOUTH - New York City, New London

·        Take Exit #91 off I-95 North

·        At end of exit, go straight through traffic light, you will be on The Pequot Trail, Route 234 East heading towards Westerly, Rhode Island.  - Go to Step 2

1.b)      From NORTH - Boston, Providence

·        Take Exit #91 off I-95 South

·        Turn Left at end of exit on to Taugwonk Rd.  Just after the overpass under I-95, turn Left at traffic light onto The Pequot Trail, Route 234 heading towards Westerly, Rhode Island. - Go to Step 2

2)         Once on Pequot Trail heading East

·        Take 3rd Right (at top of incline – ¼ mile) onto Farmholme Road. Stay on Farmholme Road until you come to a STOP sign.

·        At the STOP sign you’ll be facing Route #1; South Broad Street. Take a Left at STOP sign. 

·        Stay on Route #1 for about one mile You will pass Stonington High School on the right and the Stonington Police Department on the left. You will come to a traffic light.

At the traffic light take a Left Go past the entrance to the small shopping center on your right. You will go past a sign for the Hi-Tech Profiles (HTP) Buildings and come to an island in the road. MicroSystems Integration, Inc. will be in the building cluster on your right and our office is the last office suite on the right

• Exit Airport
• Follow signs to I-91 South [Right lane turn off Airport Exit Road]
• Take I-91 South towards Hartford – look for Route #84 East [This will be a Left Hand Exit]
• Stay in Right lane on Route #84 East - look for Route #2 East
• Take Route #2 East
• Stay on Route #2 to Colchester, Connecticut - about 20-25 minutes.
• Look for Route #11 Exit to New London.  Route #2 will fork, Route #11 is the Right fork.
• Take Route #11
• Go as far as you can on Route #11 and take the last exit. 
• At end of the exit turn Left – go to traffic light (Salem Four Corners - Route #85)
• Turn Right at light (Route # 85 South)
• Stay on Route #85 for 14 miles.  Eventually you will see a large shopping mall on your right hand side   [The Crystal Mall] . You are in Waterford, CT, at this point.
• After the Crystal Mall, look for I-95 North – stay in the left hand lane to get on to I-95 North
• Take Exit #91 off I-95 North
• Follow directions above

• From I-95 North or South Take Exit #87 (I-95 South stay in left lane, as exit is on the left). Exit ramp will lead to Clarence B. Sharpe Highway (Route #349).
• Proceed to Second traffic light
• Turn Right on Rainville Road
• Go to next traffic light and turn Left on Benham Road. By this time, you will see sign for - CONN Avery Point and Coast Guard R&D Center.
• Stay straight on Benham Road it becomes Eastern Point Road.
• Stay straight on Eastern Point Road and proceed past Pfizer complex and golf course on left.
• About two miles past Pfizer the entrance to Avery Point Campus/R&D Center will be directly in front of you.
• Go straight in entrance until you come to traffic circle.
• Go around traffic circle.
• Take first road on the right after going around traffic circle.
• You’ll see Coast Guard flagpole about 100 yds ahead of you – R&D Center is on the left.
