  • Operations: Import Agent  - Imported 2.5 M Gross Sales from China and Korea for Customers such as Cabalas, LLBean, and 3M. Experienced in using EDI services such as SPS Commerce and Infoaccess. Continuous Customer/Vendor contact for product development, price negotiations, vendor compliance, and shipping advice. Created and presented monthly / quarterly financial analysis spreadsheets to inform management of opportunities to increase volume and decrease expenses. Bookkeeping responsibilities such as A/P, A/R, Invoicing, POs and bank reconciliations. Filed and deposited Payroll, Sales and Excise Tax. Area included all of Glastonbury, Portland, Cromwell, Middletown and Middlefield, CT. Improved Range of Dispatch by 10%, Reduced Excess Hours worked by 15%, Increased Stops/Hr. by 20% by decreasing mileage and improving Drivers route trace. Continuously met and exceeded group production goals.

  • Pre-load Supervisor - Supervised 10 pre-loaders, instilling a sense of urgency, teamwork and high level of expectation. Improved staff morale; reduced staff turnover to record lows by continuously training, communicating and motivating. Responsible for production quotas while training part-time employees and successfully developing future managers.
